An experienced captain (couples will also be considered) is required for a Swan 82 operating within a multi-yacht program owned by a highly experienced sailing family.

Applicants must have proven experience over multiple seasons in a similar command position, with strong boat handling skills and a solid background sailing comparable yachts.

The vessel operates seasonally between New England (Rhode Island and Maine) and the Caribbean, with a mix of private family use and occasional charter. Future plans include Mediterranean cruising and participation in superyacht regattas.

Key Requirements:

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore or Ocean (or equivalent certification)

• Valid STCW and ENG1 (or equivalent)

• Must hold a valid B1/B2 visa, be a US citizen, or possess a green card (non-negotiable)

• Several seasons of experience as captain on similar-sized sailing yachts

• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, crew, and shipyard periods

• Familiarity with Planned Maintenance Systems
