A 72ft performance cruising yacht seeks an experienced Captain/Engineer & Mate/Chef team. A true blue-water cruiser, this performance yacht has sailed extensively worldwide. Launched in 2013, she has been maintained to high standards and is currently undergoing an extensive refit in the US.

This position offers a dedicated and established team the opportunity to sail a lot of miles and explore new cruising areas beyond the milk run as future plans include remote locations.

The boat is privately used by a passionate family with global sailing experience and a long history of yacht ownership. Crew can expect a professional work environment with direct contact with the owner.

Qualities required of the Captain/Engineer:

• Strong sailing background (min of 5 years experience on larger sailing yachts (22m+/72ft+))
• Offshore sailing experience including ocean passages
• Strong engineering background & ability to troubleshoot in remote locations
• Self-motivated
• Team player
• Fluent English

Qualities required of the Mate/Chef:

• Strong sailing background (min of 5 years experience on larger sailing yachts (22m+/72ft+))
• Comfortable to assist with all areas of operation on deck
• Offshore sailing experience
• Experience managing an interior to superyacht standards
• Experience managing a galley and cooking for crew and guests – please share a sample menu when applying
• Self-motivated
• Team player
• Fluent English
