Interior crew have a varied and exciting role on board. The general responsibilities of the interior crew include service skills, housekeeping, and laundry. Many yachts will also seek interior crew that can help drive the tender or assist on deck during sailing and docking maneuvers.

If you have experience in the hotel, fine dining or aviation industries, include this in your CV as it can help make your application stand out. Additional skills in related areas such as beauty therapy, massage, personal training, and nursing, for example, should also be included in your CV.

Key qualifications for Interior positions include:

• ENG1

• STCW

• Food & Hygiene Level II or III

• WSET level 2 & above

• Cocktail courses

• Barista experience

• Stewardess training

• Excel & Microsoft experience

• Accounting training

• IYT Small powerboat & RIB license (MCA approved) / RYA Powerboat Level 2 (PBL2) (mandatory in parts of Europe to operate boats >10m)
